Shakaland, situated just 160km north of the city of Durban is a living monument to Zulu culture. In keeping with the rural surrounds, Shakaland’s accommodation features authentic African decor, complete with wooden interiors, thatched roofs and an earthy, warm ambience.

For overnight guests, commencing with Part I of the culture tour at 16:00 and Zulu dancing for an hour after dinner.

Directions from Durban:
Take the N2 North; veer off left at Dokodweni Toll Plaza onto the R66/Melmoth/Ulundi. 14km past Eshowe turn off left to Shakaland, which is well sign posted.
